Hello all & welcome to my site!
A little bit about myself..
My name's Halle, I'm a second semester senior at Emory University. I made this site for my Southern Jewish Literature class. As a born & raised Jewish, New Yorker, choosing to move down south to Atlanta for college was a big change for me. Although within the Emory community support for Judaism is abundant from the student body and faculty, this is an anomaly for most southern regions of the United States where Jews are a minority. For me, being Jewish was never faced with adversary; that said, I hoped that taking this class would enlighten me and expand my knowledge about Jewish immigration and Jewish repression in the south.
